The newly carved union territory of Leh & Ladakh is the new hot destination for the domestic tourism. Cold desert of Leh and Ladakh has established in the tourism map as facilities are coming due to development of infrastructure in this region. You will explore some of the finest monasteries in Hemis, Alchi, Lamayuru, Shey and Thiksay. The view of bluish and tranquil Pangong lake, half of which is in China, will mesmerize you. You will feel at the top of the world crossing the highest motorable road Khardongla (18350 fts). Visit Sangam, the confluence point of Indus and Zanskar river. In Nubra Valley enjoy Double Hump Bactrian camels ride at sand dunes.

    DAY 1 : Arrival at Leh Airport

    On Arrival our representative will assist you and transfer to hotel. Day free to relax and acclimatize at the altitude. In the evening short sightseeing around upper Leh. Shanti Stupa, built by Japanese master in 1995, from here we can have the panaromic views of Leh and surrounding areas of Indus valley.

    DAY 2 : Leh /Hall of Fame / Megnatic Hill/ Sangam / Leh

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Drive to  Sangam, the confluence point of Indus and Zanskar river, one can enjoy the river rafting in Zanskar river. Later visit Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, built in 1517, is a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to the Ladakh region. At Magnetic Hill it has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on a neutral gear the vehicle slides up-hill due to the magnetic force. On the way back to Leh visit Hall of Fame, a museum maintained by the Indian Army. One can see the memorabilia, Biographies of eminent defense personalities, images and weapons used during the Kargil War. Return to Hotel.

    DAY 3 : Leh /Khardung la (5602 M)/ Nubra Valley (125KM/05H00)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Depart to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (the highest motorable road in the world) at 5602 Meter and around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range and north to the giants of the Saser massif. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The road after crosses Khalsar Bridge at Shyok River & enters Nubra. On arrival visit Diskit, famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Then you will come across sand dunes where you will find Double Hump Bactrian camels.

    DAY 4 : Nubra/Shyok River/ Pangong Lake (120 KM/04H30)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    In the morning visit Panamik. This is famous for Hot Springs and then drive to Pangong Lake which is the largest brackish lake in Asia, with a larger part of it extending into Tibet. The lake is 130 km long and 5 km at its widest point with half of it running to the other side of the Indo-China border. Being at the border, the furthest point one is allowed to go to, is Spangmik, about 7 km along its western bank but it is enough to take back the most beautiful memories of Ladakh. Spangmik offers spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north and their reflections in the ever-changing blues and greens of the lake's brackish waters. Above Spangmik, one can see the glaciers and snowcapped peaks of the Pangong range.

    DAY 5 : Pangonk / Thiksay/Shey /Sindhu Ghat / Leh (140 Km/05H30)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Drive back to Leh via Chang la pass (5300 mt), on the way visit Thiksey Monastery.  This monastery of characteristic beauty is probably the most photographed, and also the best place around Leh to see a puja. The Chambalhakhang (house of God for the Buddha to come) was built in 1980 in honor of the Dalai Lama and houses an impressive two-storey Maitreya Buddha. This gompa that houses about 500 monks belongs to the Gelukpa sect, and exhibits excellent works of art. Visit SHEY, ancient capital of Ladakh has 17th century copper gold gilted statue of historical Buddha. Then visit Sindhu Ghat, the place for the Sindhu Darshan festival at the bank of Indus river.
