Lumbini, Bodh Gaya, Sarnath and Kushinagar are the four most important and holy places for Buddhists in South Asia. Out of this four you will visit Bodh Gaya, where Buddha gained enlightenment & Sarnath, where he pronounced his first teaching. Vaishali is a great Buddhist pilgrimage and also the birthplace of Lord Mahavira. It is said that the Buddha visited this place thrice and spent quite a long time here. Nalanda, is famous all over the world for the the ancient International Monastic University established in 5th century BC which taught Vedas, Logic, Grammar, Medicine, Meta-Physics, Prose Composition and Rhetoric. You will also visit Patna and Varanasi and historical town Sasaram.

    DAY 1 : Arrival Patna

    Arrival at Patna airport or railway Station and transfer to hotel.

    Afternoon explore Patna city includes Patna Museum – where you can admire the excellent collection of historical relics, artfacts and old documents that tell the tales of rich history. Thereafter, visit Golghar, Patna Sahib Gurudwara and Kumharar, a famous tourist place containing ruins of the ancient Pataliputra.

    DAY 2 : Patna / Vaishali / Nalanda / Rajgir (215KM/05H00)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Drive towards Vaishali which includes visits of Viswa Shanti Stupa, Ashoka’s Pillar ,Abhishek Pushkarni, Bawan Pokhar temple. Later you will drive to Nalanda and visit incredibly important and ancient university located in the heart of Bihar. Several Buddhist scholars from around the world frequented this place for its old publications. Later proceed to Rajgir.

    DAY 3 : Rajgir / Gaya / Bodh Gaya (75 KM/02H00)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Visit Rajgir, ancient city & first capital of Kingdom of Magadha, visit the Vishwa Shanti Stupa (access by ropeway), Bimbisar Jail, Ajatsatru cave with temple and hot spring water Kund. Later drive to Gaya and visit Falgu River and Vishnupad temple, sacred among Hindus and  dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Later proceed to Bodh Gaya.

    DAY 4 : Bodh Gaya

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Start the day trip of Bodh Gaya city which includes Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue, Thai Monastery, Royal Bhutan Monastery, Japanese monastery, Chinese monastery, Tibetan monastery. Back to hotel.

    DAY 5 : Bodh Gaya / Sasaram /Varanasi (250KM/05H30)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Drive to Varanasi and enroute explore another historical place Sasaram – where you will visit Sher Shah Suri Tomb, Maa Tara Chandi Temple, Samrat Ashok pillar. Later proceed to Varanasi, one of the oldest Cities. Upon arrival in the city enjoy the boat ride at River Ganga and assist in the evening Ganga Arti.

    DAY 6 : Varanasi Departure

    Early morning visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

    Return to hotel for breakfast. Later you will visit Kal Bhairwa temple, Durga Temple, Sankat Mochan, Tulsi Manas Temple. Visit of Sarnath Budhist temple, Ruins and Museum.

    Later transfer to airport or railway station.
