Once in the God’s own country you will not either to praise this beautiful piece of land trapped between Arabian sea and Western Ghat. This is short eight days programme from Cochin to Cochin. You will be able to visit Heritage sites in Cochin, aromatic spice market, cuisine, waterfall, tea plantation that makes a hill town lashed with green carpet, spice and rubber plantation, lush green paddy field, famed backwater, lakes, houseboat and finally some time to relax on the beach. With so much of arsenals in its kitty, Kerala has unchallenged position in the world map.

    DAY 1 : ARRIVE COCHIN

    Upon arrival at Cochin airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel.

    DAY 2 : COCHIN / MUNNAR (130 KM/04H00)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Visit St. Francis' Church, Dutch Palace (Built by the Portuguese), Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays and Saturdays) built in the year 1568. Later drive to Munnar. It is marked with some remarkable views of the mountains, tea estates, and waterfalls. Arrival and check in at hotel.

    DAY 3 : MUNNAR

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Visiting the world's highest tea estates spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometres, Lush green hills all around - a place to be seen to be believed, and Eravikulam National Park (Park is closed in the month of February & March), the best place to see the Nilgiri Tahr (rare mountain goat). Visit of the tea museum. Walk in the market of Munnar.

    DAY 4 : MUNNAR/ PERIYAR (100 KM/03H00)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Drive to Periyar (Thekkady). It is the most famous nature reserve in South India. In the afternoon enjoy boat ride at Lake Periyar (subject to availability of water level). Alternate go for Jungle walk (with naturalist). The Park includes a 26 km² artificial lake, created by the British in 1895 to supply water to Madurai. It is home to bison, sambars, wild boars, monkeys, as well as a wide variety of majestic Asiatic wild elephants & distinctive Nilgiri Langur. Walk in the spice market.

    DAY 5 : PERIYAR / ALLEPPEY (145 KM/04H00)

    Breakfast at Hotel.

    Visit Spice Plantation and drive to Alleppey and board the houseboat. The houseboat sails down gently  through backwater and narrow canals. You will see palm and coconut trees and small houses, villages, paddy fields, churches, etc. Enjoy the Sunset view. You will also get a chance to go out and walk along the water body or villages and meet local people and come back.

    Lunch and dinner will be served on board.

    Overnight on board.

    DAY 6 : ALLEPPEY / MARARIKULAM (17 KM/00H30)

    Breakfast on houseboat.

    Disembark at a boat jetty in Alleppey and drive to Mararikulam. Arrive and check-in at hotel/ beach resort.

    Rest of the day free for personal activities.

    DAY 7 : MARARIKULAM

    Breakfast at Hotel.

    Day free to enjoy the sun & sand at the beach. Option to get various Ayurvedic treatments/ massage facilities offered by your hotel.

    DAY 8 : MARARIKULAM / COCHIN (50 KM/01H30)

    Breakfast at Hotel.

    Drive to Cochin & visit local spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices. Walk in fort cochin area. In the evening enjoy a spectacular Kathakali dance show.

    In time transfer to Cochin international airport to board the flight to your destination.
